91 hours to include:

Education Courses (29 hours)

Choir/Chorale (7 hours)

Seven hours in choral ensembles (MUSEC#)

Performance (13 hours)

Nine hours of music performance study in either Piano or Voice

Two hours in piano fundaments/applied piano for the vocalist or vocal fundamentals/applied voice for the pianist.

Two hours of additional electives in piano, voice, or ensembles.

Juries/Senior Comp Exams

Pass Piano and Vocal Proficiency Juries (See Proficiency Juries section).

All music majors must complete and pass MUS 495 Senior Comprehensive Exams .

Honors Program:

The music department offers opportunities for students to enroll in honors courses from its department. The following academic courses may be taken as honors courses: MUS 221 -MUS 222 and all 300 and 400 level academic courses.
