The Art & Design Department seeks, by education and example, to instill in students the creative vision, intellectual rigor, technical skill, aesthetic insight, spiritual discernment, and work ethic necessary for the practice of graphic design informed by a Christian worldview. In addition, the department seeks to provide the campus and local community with opportunities for education in and exposure to graphic design.
Graphic Design majors (freshman and transfer) enter as BA candidates and are admitted to BFA standing upon successful completion of GDS 110, 112, and 114 and by approval of the graphic design faculty.
