This course examines marriage and family theories and approaches to counseling with families and couples. This course reviews appraisal of family and couples’ systems and the application of these to counseling families and/or couples in pre-marriage, marriage and/or divorce situations. Students will learn about treatment planning for marriage and family therapy.
