MAC 620 - Counseling and Psychotherapy Skills - 1 Week Residency (3 ) GR
This course provides an overview of the basic counseling skills needed within a professional counseling setting. Course work includes understanding philosophic bases of helping processes, counseling theories and their applications, basic and advanced helping skills, consultation theories and their application, client and helper self-understanding and self-development, and facilitation of client or consultee change. The course will emphasize hands-on experiences and opportunities for students to practice counseling skills and techniques. Yearly Cycle Every year
