This course provides the student with the skills necessary to be able to retrieve and work with data from a typical relational database using SQL. The primary emphasis will be placed on understanding SQL using the MySQL database, database design, and data analysis with normalization and relationships. Big data topics such as Hadoop and Azul are also included.
