Define and understand personal strengths and areas for improving leadership and interpersonal skills. Develop and enhance leadership influence, thereby becoming increasingly effective at creating positive change in the social and work environment. Transformational leaders excel at collaborating with others to facilitate meaningful impact. Materials read during the course will focus on effective leadership strategies, as well as techniques for fostering improved curriculum, instruction and assessment practice, as well as creating a supportive community in which teacher and students thrive. This course addresses PSEL Standard 3: Equity and Cultural Responsiveness, Standard 4: Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment, and Standard 5: Community of Care and Support for students.
