Review the rich history, philosophy, and theoretical underpinnings of learning and teaching, spanning classical education, behaviorism, constructivism, and other prominent educational theories and perspectives. Critically examine these perspectives, identifying their strengths and limitations in addressing contemporary educational issues. and shaping current educational policies and practices.  Engage in a rigorous analysis of major schools of thought and their intersections with social developments, tracing their historical evolution and assessing the impact on educational practices. Candidates are tasked with identifying and reflecting on their own educational leadership philosophy, recognizing any changes or insights gained through the evaluation of these diverse perspectives. This comprehensive approach to understanding the history and philosophy of education equips candidates with a deeper understanding of curriculum, instruction, and assessment.    PSEL Standard 4
