EDU 745 - Enhancing Curriculum & Instructional Capacity (3 ) GR
Explore foundational principles and guidelines for curriculum development and evaluation across elementary, middle, and secondary school levels. Transition from thinking of curriculum for a particular subject within a classroom setting to thinking of the philosophical frameworks that help shape curriculum and instructional approaches appropriate for improving student performance. Develop an understanding of current state and school curricula and learn how to effectively restructure and implement curriculum to create professional learning opportunities that improve teaching and learning. Issues surrounding national and state student testing will be addressed.
