Explore policy, guidelines, procedures and ethics of administrative decisions; management and leadership of human resources and personnel practices and problems in current school situations. Review the roles of policy-making bodies, the public, professionals, paraprofessionals and general staff in recruitment, selection, retention and evaluation of staff. Develop an understanding of the principles and issues for properly managing human resources within the school environment. This course addresses Standard 3.3: Equity, Inclusiveness, and Cultural Responsiveness and Standard 7.1-7.4: Building Professional Capacity of the NELP Standards
