EDU 221 - Child Development (3 ) UG
This course is an exploration of individual growth and development from conception through early adolescence. The focus encompasses various aspects, including physical, perceptual, motor, cognitive, language, personality, and social development. The curriculum integrates major concepts, principles, theories, and research pertinent to children and young adolescents’ development. Emphasis is placed on utilizing this knowledge to construct learning experiences that facilitate and support individual development. The course requires candidates to have Field Experience hours in a school. This Pre-Education Course is open to non-declared Teacher Education majors.
