A course exploring the theoretical and experimental principles of gases, liquids and solids, solutions, reaction kinetics, chemical equilibria, phase rule, and catalysis. In the laboratory, students will explore chemical thermodynamics, reaction kinetics, bulk properties of solutions, and selected topics in molecular modeling and data analysis.
