Global Sourcing and Manufacturing takes an economic perspective of fashion products, production, and global sourcing, with emphasis on the US fashion industry. Students will obtain
knowlegdge of the global sourcing of apparel and textile products including trade patters, policies, sourcing strategies, quality systems and logistics. Globalization has revolutionized the
business of fashion and students will learn to take a critical approach to analyzing historical events shaping political regulating the fashion industry.
