Apparel Quality and Sustainability introduces the study of apparel product development through an in-depth analysis of textiles (fiber, yarn, and fabric) and finished apparel. Students learn to
identify fiber content and properties, various types of weaving and knitting applications, seams, stitches as well as quality defects. Major focus on practical assessment of fabric in relationship
to the care tag, price point and intended target market. Students will learn to apply a sustainability lens when evaluationg fashion production and apparel quality techniques.
